The Garanta you have, do you know who made it? Its rare but whats it worth? thx Peter 29
No ones actually know who made it, the Briton, Limit and Garanta are near enough the same pistol.Possibly the design was licence out by Diana so not many of the above were produced because of the high cost. I don’t really put a value on some of my guns because i will never sell them but I know a dealer selling one for £295 and looks to be in worst condition than my example.
Which is my favorite Gat out of my collection? Thank you John 62
My favorite Gat is the Lincoln Jeffries Scout I have. Its very new to my collection. A collector friend had it didn’t want to sell it but in the end we done a deal. The scout I have is a very nice chrome example. Its made of high grade steel and looks the part.
Where do you pick up your Gats from? Dom 44
I pick up Gats from many different avenues., Mostly online through GunStar and Guntrader. You have to be quick so check every day. I have visited some Gun Shows and of course buy from the Gun Shops around the Country.
Whats the connection with Gats? why do you collect them? Dean 51
Around 30 years ago I was a young lad into air weapons and like many bought my first Harrington Gat Gun from J D Sports In Milton Keynes. I can’t remember how much around £15 I think but the fun I had with it. Fast Forward 30 years I have many types of guns but I always had a soft spot for Gats hence the collection. I might be weird but Its my thing.
Are you sure you won’t sell some of your guns, even for large sum of money Ron 70
No im not in a position where I need the money…………..How Much Money ? lol
What Models are you after? Shaun 55
Im after anything really. I will always see what your gun is like and compare it to mine. Most of the time I will buy it anyway because its ok to have doubles. There are so many variants of the Gat that I would take up the page listing them.
I have a Diana Mod2 with a Brown Wooden Grip which in Inherited, What is it worth? Mark 22
The Diana Mod2 are a great Gat, very reliable and very underrated and I think under valued. A good working condition un boxed one will get around £50.
Gats are rubbish. you can throw the pellet further. Steve 49
There are many jokes about Gat Guns being low power or the pellet/Dart doesn’t leave the barrel. The truth is if that some batches of Gats were very week but most you wouldn’t want to be shot by one of them. I have some that would easily piece the skin.
These Gats have very poor accuracy, you can buy better guns that use CO2 that are extremely accurate. Why Use them? Paul 23
Gats are used for entertainment, putting out some old cans and shooting them down 5 metres away is great fun with friends. Whats the enjoyment of knocking over cans with a current very accurate pistol. If your having a drink you can get drunk very quickly drinking a bottle of Sprits but you don’t you drink at pleasure enjoying the chat and surroundings etc. The point is when something too easy theirs no challenge and things are done very quickly. Gats have brought a lot of memories back around for many of us and are used still today.
Whats that LOVENA LOV2 Gat Like the one you sold? Jamie27
Its a nice light little Gat, like other Gats aim a little lower than the target because the Gat does kick up a little which is expected of Gats. Only £49.99 Delivered to Uk Addresses. See the Vintage Collectables to buy section where you can buy.
